Llamau Limited is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to fill the role of Homelessness Support Coordinator. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of women experiencing homelessness, empowering them to achieve their full potential and independence.

Job Details
  • This is a full-time and permanent contract with 35 hours per week, including additional on-call shifts. You will be required to participate in the first-tier on-call rota, providing telephone and in-person support as needed.
  • The estimated salary for this position is around £25,000 per annum, which includes a competitive benefits package, including up to 41 days of annual leave and an enhanced Group Pension Scheme with 10% employer contributions after a qualifying period.
  • You will work collaboratively with a team who values diversity and inclusion, creating personalized support plans and helping women achieve their goals and independence.
Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a key worker to motivate and empower women to gain independence and reach their full potential.
  • Build strong relationships with people and communicate effectively, using a non-judgmental mindset and understanding of the impacts of homelessness, substance misuse, family breakdown, domestic abuse, and trauma.
  • Promote services and collaborate with local agencies such as the local authority, specialist charities, education providers, probation, social services, and housing provisions.
Requirements
  • The ability to build strong relationships with people and communicate effectively.
  • A non-judgmental mindset and understanding of the impacts of homelessness, substance misuse, family breakdown, domestic abuse, and trauma.
  • A forward-thinking and resilient attitude to overcome challenges and setbacks.
  • A strong character who can remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
  • Experience in support work or domestic abuse with knowledge of housing options, housing law, and basic benefits.
  • A full UK driving license and access to a car for work-related tasks.
