Job Title: Youth Support Specialist

About the Role:
This exciting opportunity has arisen to join Educators Wales as a Youth Support Specialist, working with young people in various settings to identify and track those at risk of disengagement. You will be part of a team that delivers support services to vulnerable young individuals, including those potentially at risk of homelessness.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver lead worker support to young people identified with vulnerabilities, engaging them in education, employment, or training opportunities.
Work closely with the youth work team to provide support across the wider Youth Service.

Requirements:
A relevant Level 3 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales (e.g., Youth and Community Work, Community Development, Criminal Justice, Early Years, Education, Teaching, Social Work).
An understanding of factors leading to disengagement in young people.
Excellent communication skills to engage hard-to-reach young people.

Salary and Benefits:
The successful candidate can expect a salary range of £19,776 - £32,076. Benefits include access to training and development opportunities, Local Government Pension Scheme, agile working patterns, and staff discount schemes.
