About Our Kitchen

We are a highly successful and growing kitchen brigade seeking an experienced Pastry Junior Sous Chef to join our team. Our kitchen is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where we are passionate about food and committed to excellence.

Your Role

As a Pastry Junior Sous Chef, you will be responsible for managing the hot kitchen line, ensuring that food is prepared, plated, and served properly and efficiently. You will also be expected to assume the Sous Chef's responsibilities in their absence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the hot kitchen line, ensuring that food is prepared, plated, and served properly and efficiently.
  • Assume the Sous Chef's responsibilities in their absence.
  • Help manage the staff and maintain a high level of service.
  • Ensure that food is prepared to the highest standards, following recipes, processes, and standards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working as a Pastry Junior Sous Chef or higher.
  • Experience working with a similar cuisine.
  • Great English language communication skills with a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to maintain and follow recipes, processes, and standards.
  • Drive and ambition with a desire to learn and grow within the team.
  • Flexible availability, working any 5 days a week between Monday and Sunday.
