Job Title: Quality Governance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Governance Manager to join our team at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of a trust-wide quality strategy, ensuring that our services are safe, effective, and of high quality. This will involve working closely with senior leaders, clinicians, and other stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to address these.

You will be responsible for ensuring that our quality governance framework is robust and effective, and that we are meeting our regulatory requirements. This will involve working closely with our governance team to ensure that our policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant with relevant regulations.

You will also be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our patient safety strategy, ensuring that we are minimizing harm and improving patient outcomes. This will involve working closely with our patient safety team to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to address these.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of a trust-wide quality strategy
  • Ensure that our quality governance framework is robust and effective
  • Develop and implement our patient safety strategy
  • Work closely with senior leaders, clinicians, and other stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to address these
  • Ensure that our policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant with relevant regulations
  • Lead the development and implementation of our quality accounts content and submission
  • Attend as required the Board's Quality and Safety Committee, and the executive led Patient Safety Group, Clinical Effectiveness Group, and the Risk and Compliance Group
