Job Title: Quality Governance Manager

London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled Quality Governance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the ongoing direction and strategy for quality governance, patient safety, clinical effectiveness, and risk management across the Trust.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver a Trustwide strategy in line with the NHS England National Patient Safety Strategy, incorporating elements such as Learning from Patient Safety Events, the Patient Safety Syllabus, Patient Involvement in Patient Safety, and Patient Safety Priorities.
  • Provide leadership for the Quality and Patient Safety team and be a key member of the Trust's Committees with a remit for quality governance.
  • Lead on the Quality Accounts content and submission, ensuring the learning from risk management, incidents, and quality improvement are fed back into the improvement cycle and processes of the Trust.
  • Attend the Board's Quality and Safety Committee, and the executive-led Patient Safety Group, Clinical Effectiveness Group, and the Risk and Compliance Group to ensure regular and comprehensive reports are provided.
