Electrical/Mechanical Machine Engineer

Rhino Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical/Mechanical Machine Engineer to join our Site Maintenance Team in Crewe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our on-site machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out planned maintenance on the site sorter, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and schedules.
- Respond to breakdowns and reactive works, delivering high-quality results in a timely manner.
- Accurately diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement, driving efficiency and productivity across the site.
- Perform repair and improvement work on site, plant, and equipment, ensuring all work is accurately recorded and communicated to the team.
Requirements:
- Relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced distribution environment.
- Good knowledge of general engineering principles.
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary of £39,000 + overtime premium of 33%.
- 4 on 4 off shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights).
