Electrical/Mechanical Machine Engineer

Rhino Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical/Mechanical Machine Engineer to join our Site Maintenance Team in Crewe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our on-site machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out planned maintenance on the site sorter, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and schedules.
  2. Respond to breakdowns and reactive works, delivering high-quality results in a timely manner.
  3. Accurately diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
  4. Proactively identify areas for improvement, driving efficiency and productivity across the site.
  5. Perform repair and improvement work on site, plant, and equipment, ensuring all work is accurately recorded and communicated to the team.

Requirements:

  • Relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced distribution environment.
  • Good knowledge of general engineering principles.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary of £39,000 + overtime premium of 33%.
  • 4 on 4 off shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights).
