Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical/Mechanical Engineer to join our Site Maintenance Team in Crewe. As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining the site and site sortation system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned maintenance on the site sorter ensuring work is carried out in accordance with the required schedule and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Accurately diagnose electrical and mechanical faults with the machine and across the wider site.
  • Be proactive in your approach, always looking for ways to improve things.
  • Ensure all work undertaken and equipment downtime are accurately recorded on our CMMS.

Requirements

  • Hold an NVQ Level 3 in a relevant field or equivalent.
  • Possess good knowledge of general engineering principles.
  • Have previous experience in a fast-paced distribution environment.
