About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sales Administrator to join our Internal Sales team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling incoming customer orders and providing quotes for complex components.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage a portfolio of approximately 30 clients, providing quotes and processing orders in a timely manner.
  2. Generate around 15-20 quotes per month for complex components, ensuring accurate pricing and margins.
  3. Input orders received into our manufacturing process, ensuring seamless execution.
  4. Utilize historical data to expedite quote generation and improve customer satisfaction.
  5. Maintain margins as per guidance, ensuring optimal revenue growth.
  6. Convert currency for overseas orders and quotes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  7. Collaborate with design teams for new and non-standard work, ensuring customer needs are met.
  8. Represent customer interests in meetings, promoting priority orders and deadlines.
  9. Track enquiries through our MRP system, maintaining shared files and capturing essential information.
You
  1. Proven experience as a Sales Order Processor or Administrator.
  2. Background in an Engineering or Manufacturing environment.
  3. Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems.
  4. Understanding of Bill of Materials (BOMs).
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Able to read technical drawings (an advantage).
  7. Proficient in currency conversion calculations.
