Learning Support Professional

About the Job:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning Support Professional to join our team in the NN6 area. As a Learning Support Professional, you will work closely with students with special educational needs, providing one-on-one or small group support in mainstream and specialist school settings.
Key responsibilities include implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies, preparing engaging learning materials and classroom resources, and providing one-on-one support to SEN learners in the classroom. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of supporting SEN learners and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a classroom assistant, preferably supporting SEN learners.
- NVQ qualification is ideal, but Unqualified Teaching Assistants (UTAs) with relevant experience will be considered.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting SEN learners.
What We Offer:
A competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications, and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team that values collaboration and innovation.
