Job Title: Community Development Head

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Development Head to join our team at BS3 Community Development. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for leading our Community Development team and driving our mission to improve the health, wellbeing, happiness, and sense of belonging of those people in the BS3 postcode area of south Bristol.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Community Development team to achieve our mission and objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective community engagement strategies to promote our services and activities.
  • Manage the Catering and Café to ensure high-quality services and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local stakeholders, including community groups, businesses, and statutory agencies.
  • Contribute to the development of our organisational strategy and business plan.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of leading a community development team and driving community engagement strategies.
  • Strong understanding of the needs and aspirations of local communities, particularly in the BS3 postcode area.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
