As a Neuro Physiotherapy Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality services to individuals with acute stroke, promoting their independence, mobility, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment & Treatment Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop personalized treatment plans, addressing the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Clinical Intervention: Provide skilled physiotherapy interventions, such as patient handling, mobility training, and education on adaptive techniques to enhance safe transfer and mobility.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions, coordinate care, and maintain open communication about patient progress.
  • Equipment Recommendations: Identify and recommend necessary equipment and aids to support patient mobility and independence.
  • Continuity of Care: Foster strong relationships with patients and their families, ensuring continuity of care and addressing concerns through clear communication.


Requirements:

  • Qualifications & Experience: Hold a degree in Physiotherapy (BSc or MSc) and possess a minimum of 12 months experience in an acute stroke or neuro setting.
  • Skills & Knowledge: Demonstrate a strong understanding of acute stroke management, National Stroke guidelines, and evidence-based physiotherapy models, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
