About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Hospital Ambassador at The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and providing a warm welcome to our visitors. As a Hospital Ambassador, you will be the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff, setting the tone for their overall experience.

You will work closely with our teams to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care and support. This will involve greeting and directing patients, visitors, and staff, as well as providing information and assistance as needed.

Main Responsibilities

  • Greet and direct patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Assist patients and visitors with navigating the hospital facilities.
  • Provide information and support to patients and visitors as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with hospital teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and respond promptly to enquiries.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Basic knowledge of hospital procedures and policies.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role is desirable but not essential.
  • Certificate of Good Character or DBS check may be required.

The estimated salary for this position is £18,000-£22,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including training and development opportunities, pension scheme, and annual leave entitlement.
