Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our client's team on a temporary basis. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a high-quality fit-out project in London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statement) documents
  • Conduct site inductions for subcontractors and ensure they are aware of health and safety procedures
  • Attend weekly subcontractor meetings to discuss project progress and address any issues
  • Report incidents and accidents on site and implement corrective actions
  • Manage health and safety on site, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure high-quality finishes
  • Manage procurement and scheduling of materials on site

Requirements:

  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
  • CSCS Manager Card
  • 1st Aid at Work certification
  • Experience of site managing high-quality Cat B office fit-outs, including reviewing and approving RAMS, conducting site inductions, and managing health and safety
  • Proficient IT skills
  • Local to site (1 hour maximum commute)

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience managing BREEAM projects
  • Experience using Procore Project Management software
  • Experience using 1Breadcrumb H&S Integration Software
  • Fire Marshall certification
  • 5 years' experience in commercial and fit-out projects
  • Organized and motivated individual with great interpersonal skills
