About the Role

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing expert advice on health, safety, and environmental matters to colleagues and management teams. This role involves site visits to construction sites to ensure compliance with statutory health, safety, and environmental requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mind, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse data and present findings to the management team
  • Conduct site visits to construction sites to check on site safety standards
  • Review and approve risk assessments and method statements
  • Enforce health and safety requirements
  • Plan emergency procedures
  • Adhere to environmental and safety laws
  • Implement health and safety standards such as ISO 45001
  • Work in a variety of weather conditions to serve customers and protect the environment
  • Understand and follow health and safety protocols
Qualifications and Training

The successful candidate will be enrolled on the Level 3 Safety, Health & Environment Technician course and will receive funding for their qualifications through an accredited training provider. The apprenticeship duration is 24 months.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this apprenticeship, you must be living in England for the last 3 years and have the right to work status.
