Job Description:

The Vision for Education team in Cambridge is seeking a highly skilled Learning Enrichment Assistant to join our team at a Secondary school. This role involves providing specialist support to pupils with SEND on a small group basis in KS3 & 4.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop targeted support strategies for pupils with SEND
  • Design and implement individualized learning programs to meet the needs of pupils
  • Offer emotional and academic support to pupils, enabling them to access the curriculum effectively
  • Communicate with other professionals to ensure seamless coordination of support services

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with children and/or pupils with SEND
  • A strong passion for promoting the progress and well-being of secondary school pupils
  • An ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate with colleagues and parents
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
