Learning Disability Assistant Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to take on the role of Learning Disability Assistant Manager within our organisation. In this position, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support services to adults with learning disabilities.
Main Responsibilities- Implement medication administration protocols according to established care plans.
- Assist individuals with personal care tasks tailored to their specific needs.
- Enhance community integration and social inclusion opportunities through partnerships with local groups.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective person-centred plans.
- Strengthen social connections and relationships among service users.
- Oversee support coordination, encompassing Health Action Plans and Person-Centred Plans.
- Manage staff schedules and approve time-off requests.
- Lead regular staff supervision sessions and performance evaluations.
- Deliver staff training programs.
- Foster healthy lifestyles through collaboration with healthcare providers.
- Partner with care managers and other specialists to optimise the quality of life for service users.
- Adhere to risk assessment procedures, following organisational policies and guidelines.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Actively engage in supervisory and appraisal processes.
- Regularly update knowledge and skills through training initiatives.
- Comply with mobile device and IT usage policies.
- Support individuals based on their care plan and related policies.
- Immediately report any financial discrepancies.
- Stay informed about organisational financial policies and procedures.
- Complete required paperwork according to organisational policies and procedures.
- Effectively manage weekly schedules to ensure optimal resource allocation and cost efficiency.
- Be flexible and work on a rotating schedule to meet service demands, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Accurately document work activities while adhering to organisational standards, data protection laws, and information governance principles.
Salary: £29,500 - £40,000 per annum.
