We are seeking a qualified social worker to lead key strands within Merton's Family Wellbeing Service. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the day-to-day operational delivery, working closely with colleagues and partner agencies to achieve service objectives, quality standards, and targets. They will also monitor performance and ensure the delivery of responsive early help intervention services that prevent harm and promote children's life chances.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing staff within the service to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to children, young people, and families.
  • Developing and implementing operational plans to achieve service objectives and quality standards.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Monitoring performance and making adjustments as necessary to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
