Role Overview

BAM Nuttall is a leading engineering company that delivers complex and sustainable projects across the UK. As a Planning Engineer, you will play a key role in the success and delivery of various projects in the North East region.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Civil Engineering contracting and possess excellent communication skills to manage their workload and collaborate with senior planning engineers and managers.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary, ranging from £45,000 to £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of family-friendly policies and benefits, including a company car or car allowance, pension contributions, private healthcare, and life assurance.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Integrate and manage sub-contractor and supplier programmes with our own.
  • Assimilate and interpret information from tender and project documentation.
  • Understand civil construction techniques and develop them into a working programme.
  • Coordinate with estimators and commercial teams on all programme aspects.
  • Compile concise narratives, phasing, reports, and supporting documents for input into quality submissions for tenders and projects.
