Senior Assurance Coordinator

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Assurance Coordinator to join our Risk and Compliance Department. As a Senior Assurance Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the implementation of our UK compliance framework, both internally and externally across our Partner Network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of the UK Thematic Review Compliance Monitoring Plan (CMP) and conduct external Partner assurance reviews, focusing on high-risk or underperforming Partners.
- Ensure that key initiatives, such as the Lending Standards Board (LSB), are fully integrated into our operations.
- Lead the delivery of thematic reviews, identifying and addressing customer and regulatory risks across various business functions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure actionable insights are addressed and key risks are reported to the Head of Assurance.
- Enhance knowledge of regulatory compliance, including FCA, ICO, CCA, OFCOM, and LSB, to support adherence to requirements and improve customer outcomes.
Requirements:
- Solid experience in a similar role with strong knowledge of assurance monitoring activities.
- Demonstrated understanding of compliance best practices and ensuring good customer outcomes.
- Proven ability to build relationships with internal departments and clients.
- Proficient in word processing and spreadsheets at an intermediate level.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer-focused with a methodical approach and excellent attention to detail.
- Exceptional planning, time management, and problem-solving skills.
