Job Title: Conference and Events Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Conference and Events Coordinator to join our team at Elite Venue Selection. As a Conference and Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing conferences, events, and banquets at our venues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and execute conferences, events, and banquets, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality service.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful events.
  • Manage event logistics, including room layouts, catering, audio-visual equipment, and decorations.
  • Supervise and train event staff to ensure excellent service and attention to detail.
  • Participate in event planning and coordination, including site visits, vendor meetings, and budgeting.
  • Assist with event marketing and promotion, including creating promotional materials and social media posts.
  • Monitor and control event budgets, ensuring profitability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop sales strategies.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in conference and events coordination or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse groups and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Proficiency in event planning software and technology, including event management systems and social media platforms.
