Learning Support Assistant

Job Opportunity: Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team in an alternative provision primary school in Salford.
About the Role: We are looking for an individual with experience as a Teaching Assistant, working with pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The successful candidate will support pupils in Key Stage One and Two, promoting engagement in the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with SEMH needs in a primary school setting
- Work closely with individual pupils to promote engagement and understanding
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective support strategies
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have experience working with pupils with SEMH needs, a good understanding of SEMH, and excellent communication skills. Psychology graduates are encouraged to apply.
