Job Summary
Recra Consulting is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong technical background in control systems engineering or commissioning to join our team. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required standard.
Responsibilities
Effectively manage electrical and control aspects of projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to specifications. Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and subcontractors. Develop and review technical documents, overseeing software functional tests for systems. Ensure comprehensive testing and quality checks of system components, meeting required standards. Collaborate with project staff to review planning and identify issues. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality. Identify and report variations to the department manager, preparing cost estimates and technical specifications as needed. Manage subcontracted packages, from order to final acceptance. Contribute to lessons-learned meetings.
Requirements
Essential:
- Proven Project Management experience within an Engineering environment.
- Strong track record in the design and delivery of control systems.
- Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering.
- Previous experience in site installation and management.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams, both internal and subcontractors.
- Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
