Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Social Care Team Supervisor to join our team in Peterborough and Lincoln.

About the Job:

The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of high-quality services to vulnerable children and families, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a designated team of people working with service users to provide all required Children's Services activities and practices to the agreed standards.
  • Collaborate with other colleagues in the Locality as necessary.
  • Complete all management procedures and routines for each member of the team in line with People Policies.
  • Plan and delegate the allocation of workload and resources within area of responsibility.
  • Oversight and control of Service User Recording in the team.
  • Maintain active engagement on all Safeguarding matters.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in children's services, be able to line manage people, and have a sound knowledge of Ofsted. You will also need to be an empathic person who can keep calm under pressure and enjoy making a positive impact on children's lives.

Salary: £34,696 - £42,541 per annum (paid by the hour between £17.79 and £21.81). This is a fixed-term contract with a rolling temp arrangement.
