We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Community Health Care Support Worker to join our Community Intensive Therapy Team within the Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health care group.
The post holder will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide support to children and young people with moderate to severe mental health difficulties in the community.
Key responsibilities include working closely with the young person and their family or carer to offer community intervention and monitor mental health needs.
Key Requirements- NVQ III in Health Care qualification or relevant experience, knowledge and training working with Children and Young People.
- Experience of working with Children and Young People in a similar environment.
- Awareness of Child and adolescent normal development.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to work within a team and autonomously.
- Ability to work flexible under close supervision.
