Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support to a reception pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Chorley.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individualized support to the pupil, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
- Assist with personal care as needed, ensuring the pupil's physical and emotional well-being.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging the pupil to participate and engage with their peers.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure the pupil's needs are met, and their progress is monitored and reported.
- Potential for full-time hours, providing a stable and secure work environment.
- A supportive team environment, with opportunities for professional development and growth.
- Ongoing training and support, ensuring you have the skills and confidence to make a positive impact on the pupil's life.
- Experience working with children with ASD is preferred, but not essential.
- A compassionate and patient approach, with the ability to engage and motivate young learners.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff, ensuring the pupil's needs are met and their progress is monitored.
