Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Disability Care Manager to join our team in Redbridge. In this role, you will provide expert advice and support to team members, assist in ensuring team members meet expectations, and stay up-to-date with best practices and legislation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Service Manager to plan and execute projects within agreed timelines.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and briefings on policy and operational issues.
  • Offer guidance and support to team members in performing their duties.
  • Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations and develop a deep understanding of key council policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including education authorities, health services, and social services.
  • Provide leadership, consulting, professional support, guidance, and advice to the immediate team and colleagues across the service.
  • Ensure possession of a valid driving license and utilize a car for work-related tasks.
  • Prior experience in disability care or related fields is required.

Compensation Package: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, based on experience.
