We are looking for a highly skilled Estimation Professional to join our team in Cambuslang. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in estimating and detailing façade and glazing projects.

This role requires a deep understanding of curtain walling & façade systems, including Schu-Kal and LogicKal software. The successful candidate should also possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills to coordinate effectively with clients and internal teams.

About the Job:
  • Estimate and detail complex façade and glazing projects.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and design team to prepare competitive tender bids and financial estimates.
  • Maintain a directory of supply chain partners and foster strong relationships.
  • Work independently to submit compliant competitive bids and liaise with the chief estimator.
Requirements:
  • At least 5+ years of experience as an estimator or draughtsperson, with expertise in commercial glazing, curtain walling & façade sectors.
  • Technical understanding of glass, windows, doors, and aluminium curtain walling.
  • Effective interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.
  • A relevant time-served apprenticeship trades background.
  • Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Construction, Civil Engineering - HND, NVQ or equivalent as a minimum.

Estimated salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum.
