Make a Difference in a Child's Life

We are seeking a nurturing and supportive individual to join our team at Esland Care. As a Children's Residential Care Worker, you will provide high levels of therapeutic care to our young people, helping them to achieve amazing outcomes. Our Shifnal home is a two-bed service providing immediate intervention and trauma-informed, therapeutic support. Over a 12 week placement, our young people are given security, support, and stabilisation in a nurturing and peaceful environment. Every placement provides PACE principle residential care, access to education and participation in outdoor/adventure activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide nurturing and supportive care to our young people
Work collaboratively with our team to deliver therapeutic support
Help our young people achieve their goals and aspirations
Participate in outdoor and adventure activities with our young people

Requirements:

Experience in a children's residential care home (desirable)
A level 3 (or above) diploma in residential childcare (desirable)
A Full driving licence issued in the UK
Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
Values in line with Esland's, such as taking a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare
A keen interest in outdoor and adventure activities
Due to industry regulations, applicants must be aged 21 or above
