Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Marine, Engineering & Specialty Claims to join our team in London. As a key member of our claims team, you will be responsible for managing and adjusting complex claims, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and adjust marine, engineering, and specialty claims, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement effective claims strategies, leveraging your expertise in claims adjusting and risk management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, risk management, and sales, to deliver exceptional claims services.
  • Represent the company in claims meetings and discussions, both in the UK and internationally.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in claims adjusting and risk management, with a focus on marine, engineering, and specialty claims.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of insurance practices, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
