Poultry Farm Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our client's team as a Poultry Farm Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the poultry operations across all sites, ensuring the highest standards of bird welfare and egg production.
Main Responsibilities:- Manage day-to-day tasks across all three sites, including ordering feed and organizing staff rotas.
- Complete all relevant audits and paperwork, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Communicate with the vet for advice on bird welfare and ordering antibiotics/vaccines.
- Oversee farm maintenance, ensuring the facilities are clean and well-maintained.
- Cover egg collection duties during staff holidays, ensuring continuity of operations.
- Ability to manage and work as part of a team, with a high level of attention to detail and willingness to take on responsibility.
- Understand bird welfare and be able to maintain a professional, flexible, and proactive manner.
- Hold a full UK driving licence, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Our client offers an attractive remuneration package, including a substantial egg production bonus paid at the end of each flock, calculated on the flock's performance. A 3-bed farmhouse is also available for the position.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
