HSSU Coordinator Role Overview
Nuffield Health Warwickshire Hospital is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Hospital Sterile Services Unit (HSSU) team as a Coordinator. This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary of up to £24,000.00 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and dispatch used surgical instruments in a timely and efficient manner.
- Receive and inspect sterile surgical equipment to ensure it meets our high standards.
- Support our theatre team by maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Dispose of contaminated waste in accordance with hospital policy.
- Regularly check equipment to ensure it is in good working order and report any faults.
- Maintain a clean and tidy working environment.
