Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Staffing Coordinator to join our team at Care New England Health System. This individual will be responsible for optimizing daily staffing for our nursing units, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify and complete daily staffing worksheets in a timely manner
  • Develop tools to ensure effective communication with Nurse Managers regarding staffing needs
  • Secure additional staff as needed by making phone calls, scheduling floats, and assigning agency nurses
  • Track and manage agency hours to units
  • Assist with weekly payroll processing for Nursing administration, Float, Per Diem, and all Nursing Units
  • Distribute reports and materials to all nursing units
Requirements
  • High school degree or equivalent required; 1-2 years of scheduling experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and follow through on tasks
