About the Role

Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) is a unique institution with a global presence, rooted in the Liverpool City Region. We are seeking an experienced professional administrator to join our Secretariat, Legal and Governance Services team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Board of Governors, ensuring high-quality outputs and effective governance arrangements.
  • Work closely with the Clerk to the Board to ensure all expected outputs are met, providing advice and guidance as needed.
  • Organize an annual workshop and conference, ensuring systems are up-to-date and efficient.
  • Liaise with the Vice-Chancellor's Office to support the business of the Board.
Requirements

We are looking for an individual with a thorough understanding of the Higher Education sector, excellent judgement and initiative, and the ability to evaluate precedents and analyse best practice. Exceptional written communication skills and strong organizational ability are essential.
