Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's Engineering team at their Burntisland site. As a leader with excellent team management experience, you will oversee the Engineering Team and drive the success of the department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering preventative, corrective, and reactive support to the operations team across all aspects of the site assets and infrastructure. This will include completing designated preventative maintenance tasks, identifying potential failures, and planning and executing corrective maintenance tasks.
You will also be required to identify potential engineering / operational solutions to recurring failures and implement and complete resolutions. Experience of FMCG is desirable.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement CMMS schedules based on experience and existing data.
- Electrical maintenance, including PLC's and motor control fault finding.
- Mechanical maintenance, including mechanical assembly and motor maintenance.
- Electrical / Pneumatic / Hydraulic fault finding and troubleshooting.
- Source and manage external contractors / suppliers.
- Build relationships with group CI and engineering functions to enable continuous improvement.
- Data driven decision making and root cause analysis.
- Support the development of engineering technician colleagues on site.
An effective team member, you will demonstrate high competency in health and safety awareness and excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, mechanical power systems, and the ability to interpret and amend technical, mechanical, and electrical drawings are expected.
You will be required to work weekends and unsociable hours, including nighttime, due to the needs of the business. A minimum of an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an engineering related subject, ideally mechatronics, is required and experience in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
