Maintenance Engineer

Hours: Monday – Friday Rotating Shifts
We are seeking a highly skilled Multiskilled Maintenance Professional to join our client's Engineering team at their Fife site. As a leader with excellent team management experience, you will oversee the Engineering Team and drive the success of the department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering preventative, corrective, and reactive support to the operations team across all aspects of the site assets and infrastructure, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of the manufacturing equipment. With experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, including PLC's, you will be able to complete designated preventative maintenance tasks, identify potential failures, and plan and execute corrective maintenance tasks.
You will also be required to identify potential engineering / operational solutions to recurring failures and implement and complete resolutions. Experience of FMCG is desired.
Key Requirements:- CMMS
- Development of PPM schedules based on experience, existing PPM's and breakdown data.
- Electrical maintenance, including PLC's
- Mechanical maintenance
- Mechanical assembly
- Motors
- Motor control fault finding
- Electrical / Pneumatic / Hydraulic fault finding
- Source and manage external contractors / suppliers
- Build relationships with group CI and engineering functions to enable continuous improvement
- Data driven
- Root cause analysis
- Support the development of engineering technician colleagues on site
An effective team member, you will demonstrate high competency in health and safety awareness as well as excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, mechanical power systems and the ability to interpret and amend technical, mechanical and electrical drawings are expected. Presenting a problem-solving can-do attitude will be key to success.
Due to the needs of the business, you may also be required to work weekends and unsociable hours, including nighttime. A minimum of an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an engineering related subject, ideally mechatronics is required and experience in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
