Job Title: Community Fundraising Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Fundraising Officer to join our team at Jerry Green Dog Rescue. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with local communities, businesses, and individuals to raise vital funds for our charity.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a passionate team who are dedicated to providing a safe haven for dogs in need. As a Community Fundraising Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and engaging with local communities, businesses, and individuals to raise funds and awareness for Jerry Green Dog Rescue
  • Developing and implementing fundraising strategies to meet targets and exceed expectations
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including local businesses, community groups, and individual supporters
  • Coordinating and attending local events, such as charity runs, auctions, and galas, to raise funds and awareness for the charity
  • Working closely with the Volunteering and Community Fundraising Manager to develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Community Fundraising Officer who is passionate about making a difference in their community. You will have:

  • Proven experience in community fundraising, with a track record of success in raising funds and awareness for a charity or non-profit organization
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of fundraising best practices and regulatory guidelines
  • A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle
