Job Title: Community Fundraising Officer

About the Role:
  • Identify and engage with local community groups, businesses, and individuals to develop fundraising opportunities and partnerships.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to meet the charity's income targets.
  • Work closely with the Volunteering and Community Fundraising Manager to recruit, train, and support a team of volunteers to help with fundraising activities.
  • Organize and attend local events, such as charity runs, auctions, and galas, to raise awareness and funds for the charity.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses to secure sponsorships, donations, and other forms of support.
  • Monitor and report on fundraising progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
About You:
  • You have a proven track record of successful community fundraising, with experience of working with local communities, businesses, and individuals.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • You are highly organized and able to work independently, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • You have a passion for animal welfare and a commitment to the values of Jerry Green Dog Rescue.
