Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Sister/Charge Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 7 nurse, you will be responsible for leading a team of nurses in delivering high-quality patient care in our specialized acute ward.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • To provide strong leadership and mentorship to the nursing team to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.
  • To manage staff rotas, appraisals, and professional development to ensure continuous growth and improvement.
  • To drive quality improvement initiatives and champion best practices in diabetes and endocrine care to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • A Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration and significant experience in acute care, ideally within diabetes or endocrine specialties.
  • A commitment to patient-centred care and continuous professional development, with opportunities for professional growth and leadership development.

The estimated salary for this role is £43,041 - £70,305 per annum, depending on experience.
