About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Mentor/Recruiter to join our team in Wigan, North Region. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in developing the next generation of engineers.

Key Accountabilities:

* Conduct regular reviews with apprentices at the training centre and garages to ensure their success.* Collaborate with operational representatives to discuss apprentice progression and needs.* Promote diversity and inclusion within the industry through initiatives such as 'Go-Ahead Women'.* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices to provide high-level support and guidance to apprentices.* Travel regularly to support apprentices and education providers across the region and assist other regions when necessary.

What You'll Need:

* Engineering qualification within the PSV industry.* Proven experience in coaching and mentoring apprentices, with excellent communication skills.* Ability to adapt to a flexible working schedule and frequent travel to regional locations.* Enhanced DBS check required for working in schools.* A passion for developing talent and making a difference in the engineering sector.* Willingness to support diversity and inclusivity within the workforce.* Willingness to travel to operating garages and support other sites.

Estimated Salary: £52,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
