About the Role

Celeros Flow Technology is seeking a skilled Pump Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our test team, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, testing, and dismantling of pumps for Original Equipment and Aftermarket orders.

This is a challenging role that requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all pump installations are completed to the highest standards, and that any issues or non-conformances are identified and addressed promptly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Commissioning: Install pumps and their ancillary equipment, including setting out and securing temporary foundations, pipework installation, and rotor alignment.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Participate in operational tests, controlling various aspects of the test parameters, and ensuring that all tests are completed within acceptable limits.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and report any non-conformances, and work with the team to resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on test department equipment to ensure maximum reliability and availability.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement activities to assist the company in its efforts to improve safety, drive down costs, and increase productivity.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Mechanical Fitter, preferably in a heavy manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills, with experience in rotating equipment and laser alignment. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Education: Time-served Mechanical Fitter with a strong understanding of lean manufacturing techniques.
  • Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain Security Clearance up to SC level.
