About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Lead Healthcare Service Manager to join our team at Tesco Pharmacies. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality healthcare services to our customers while fostering a supportive and collaborative environment among our pharmacy staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service Delivery: You will oversee the supply of prescriptions, delivery of NHS and private services, and provision of healthcare advice to customers.
  • Community Support: You will play an active role in our charity support program, providing advice and guidance to individuals at risk of or living with cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.
  • Team Leadership: You will support the Pharmacy Manager in leading, training, and developing colleagues to ensure they have the skills and expertise needed to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Relationship Building: You will work closely with Primary Care Networks and GPs' surgeries to build relationships and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Administrative Tasks: You will ensure accurate payment claims for NHS-covered items.
Requirements:
  • Education: You must hold a Pharmacy Degree.
  • Professional Registration: You must be a member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and willing to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
  • Criminal Record Check: You must complete a DBS check prior to employment.
