About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to residents, promoting their independence and well-being. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a residential care setting, a strong understanding of behavior management, and excellent communication skills.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on experience, plus a £1 bonus per hour worked x4 months per year.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist residents with daily living tasks, such as personal care and medication management.
  2. Support residents in developing life skills, such as cooking and cleaning.
  3. Encourage residents to participate in activities that promote socialization and community engagement.
  4. Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to organizational policies and procedures.
  5. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in residential care or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of behavior management principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
  • Valid SIA license.
