Care Support Worker

Nestled in the seaside town of Selsey, our luxurious care home offers exceptional levels of Residential, Nursing, Dementia & Respite care for 70 residents.
We are seeking an experienced and caring individual to join our close-knit care team as a Night Shift Assistant. As a key person responsible for delivering exceptional care and support to our residents, you will be integral to promoting their overall health and happiness every day.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily routines, from getting dressed to staying active, while encouraging independence.
- Follow personalized care plans and provide hands-on help and thoughtful attention to each resident's needs.
- Keep a close eye on residents' health, communicating concerns to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager.
- Uphold dignity and respect in every interaction, ensuring residents feel valued and cared for.
- Social Support: Encourage interactions among residents and staff, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
- Safety and Comfort: Work with housekeepers to maintain clean living spaces and respond quickly to emergencies.
Requirements:
- SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is preferred.
- At least 6 months of experience as a Care Assistant or transferable skills.
- Genuine interest in caring for the elderly and commitment to delivering excellent service.
