Job Summary:

Brook Street Social Care NMR is seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Residential Childcare Professional to join our team of dedicated care workers. As a Senior Residential Childcare Professional, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children and young people in our residential care homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional support and companionship to children and young people
  • Implement individual care plans as directed by the Registered Manager
  • Support children and young people to participate in activities and events in the community
  • Enable children and young people to become independent in areas such as finances and appointments
  • Maintain accurate records and report to your supervisor

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience supporting children and young people with emotional behavioral difficulties and challenging behaviors
  • Ability to work across multiple services as staff are often required to work on rotation
  • Driving license is essential
