Senior Residential Childcare Worker Opportunity

Brook Street Social Care NMR is seeking a compassionate and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Residential Childcare Worker. This role is based in Longton, Preston, and involves working in a residential setting supporting children and young people with emotional behavioral difficulties and challenging behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a safe and caring environment for the young people in your care.
  • Implement individual care plans as directed by the Registered Manager and ensure that care and support are provided and maintained.
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to the young people.
  • Enable the young people to participate in activities and events in the community.
  • Support the young people to become independent, including managing finances and attending appointments.
  • Maintain accurate records and report to your supervisor.
