About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Protection Officer to join our team at Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance. As a Data Protection Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our patients' data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data protection policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular data protection audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential data breaches.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on data protection best practices and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the IT department to ensure the secure storage and transmission of sensitive data.
  • Investigate and respond to data subject access requests and other data protection-related queries.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in data protection and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including GDPR and DPA.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
