Data Protection Officer

Location: Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire

Hours: Part-time, 22.5 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £29,000 - £34,000 FTE (Actual £17,400 - £20,400)

The Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance provides critical care to the communities of Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire, funded by public donations. Our team of dedicated professionals works tirelessly to save lives and improve patient outcomes.

We are seeking a skilled Data Protection Officer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data. You will work closely with our staff and stakeholders to implement and maintain effective data protection policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data protection policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular data protection audits and risk assessments
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on data protection best practices
  • Collaborate with our IT department to ensure data security measures are in place
  • Respond to data subject requests and complaints

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in data protection and compliance
