We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our Criminal Justice Liaison and Diversion service as a Band 6 Practitioner. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to provide holistic assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and liaise with stakeholders to meet unmet needs and reduce the cycle of reoffending.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake comprehensive assessments of individuals in the criminal justice system to identify mental health concerns and unmet social needs.
- Liaise with police, courts, and other services to ensure effective support and intervention.
- Develop and implement risk plans to mitigate harm and promote positive outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with the team to provide a high-quality service that meets the needs of our clients.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Current professional registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse, Registered Learning Disability Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Social Worker.
- Experience of working in mental health as a qualified professional.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and make decisions around patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel and have a valid full driving licence.
