We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Dog Grooming Stylist to join our award-winning Pets Corner stores. As a Dogwood Grooming Professional, you will be responsible for providing exceptional pet grooming services to our clients, ensuring their pets receive the highest standard of care.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine enthusiasm for pets, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. You will be responsible for:

  • Grooming and styling dogs to the highest standard.
  • Overseeing the running of the spa, ensuring a clean and safe environment for our clients and their pets.
  • Leading by example, demonstrating a hands-on approach to motivate, train, and develop your team to Dogwood's high standards.
  • Responsible for the sales performance of the salon, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to increase sales.
  • Booking and managing appointments, ensuring a smooth and efficient service for our clients.
  • Delivering high standards of customer service, ensuring our clients feel valued and cared for.
  • Ensuring first-class spa presentation, maintaining high levels of housekeeping and equipment maintenance.

Essential skills required for the role include:

  • A genuine interest in Dogwood, our vision, products, and values.
  • Proven experience of dog grooming to a high standard.
  • A confident and positive approach to handling dogs.
  • Strong customer focus, with a desire to get to know our clients and their pets, building strong relationships.
  • A thirst for continued training and team development.
  • The drive and determination to work equally well as part of a busy team and under your own initiative.
  • Willingness to pass grooming knowledge to trainee stylists.
