Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Pet Grooming Specialist to join our team at Dogwood, a natural pet grooming salon within Pets Corner stores. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and providing high-quality grooming services to our furry friends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Groom and style dogs to the highest standard, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
  • Oversee the running of the spa, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our customers and their pets.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a hands-on approach to motivate and develop your team to meet Dogwood's high standards.
  • Contribute to the sales performance of the salon, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to drive growth.
  • Manage appointments, ensuring efficient and effective use of time.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with our customers and their pets.
  • Maintain a high level of housekeeping and equipment maintenance, ensuring a first-class spa presentation.
Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in dog grooming to a high standard.
  • A confident and positive approach to handling dogs, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Strong customer focus, with a desire to build strong relationships with our customers and their pets.
  • A thirst for continued training and team development, staying up-to-date with industry best practices.
  • The drive and determination to work effectively as part of a busy team and under your own initiative.
  • Willingness to pass grooming knowledge to trainee stylists, contributing to the growth and development of our team.
